Wichtige Informationen vor dem Kauf

 

Sehen sie sich die Tiere beim Züchter Ihrer Wahl genau an.

Wichtig dabei ist:

• Befinden sich die Katzen in einem guten gesundheitlichen Zustand
• Welche Impfungen haben sie zum Zeitpunkt der Abgabe
• Lassen Sie sich die Elterntiere zeigen
• Sind die Tiere sehr scheu oder ängstlich
• Befinden sich in den Aufenthaltsräumen der Katzen Kletter- und Kratzmöbel, Näpfe etc.
• Legt der Züchter Wert darauf, auch nach dem Kauf der Katze mit Ihnen in Kontakt zu bleiben
• Stellt der Züchter auch Ihnen Fragen bezüglich Haltung, Urlaubsbetreuung und bereits gesammelter Erfahrungen mit Katzen

Glauben Sie mir, einem guten, seriösen Züchter, der sich um das Wohl seiner Tiere sorgt, interessieren solche Fragen an erster Stelle!

 

Und nun zur Frage, die sich anscheinend doch einige Menschen stellen: Warum ein Rassekätzchen seinen Preis hat

Sie sollten folgendes bedenken:

Wenn ein Züchter eine seriöse, liebevolle Zucht führt, hat er hohe Ausgaben.

• Anfallende Tierarztkosten (Krankheitsfall, anstehende Impfungen, Tests)
• Vereinskosten (Beantragung der Stammbäume, Jahresbetrag etc.)
• Hochwertiges Futter (Rohes Fleisch, Trockenfutter, etc.)
• Deckkosten, wenn man nicht im Besitz eines eigenen Zuchtkaters ist
• Evtl. Anfahrten zu einem Züchter
• Kosten für erstklassige Zuchttiere, die ein Züchter bereit sein muss auszugeben, wenn er auf Tiere aus guten Linien Wert legt
• Sämtliches Spielzeug, Kratzmöbel etc.

Denn schließlich soll es den Katzen ja an nichts fehlen!

Und ganz abgesehen vom zeitlichen Aufwand, der Fürsorge und vor allem der Mühe, die dahintersteckt.

Have a close look at the animals at the breeder of your choice.

Important is:

• Are the cats in a good health condition?

• Which vaccinations have they got up to the point of handing in?

• Have the parents shown to you.

• Are the animals very shy or anxious?

• Is there any cat furniture for climbing and scratching, bowls, etc. in the rooms the cats are staying in?

• Is it important for the breeder to stay in contact with you even after the sale of the cat?

• Does the breeder pose questions to you as well, concerning owning, holiday care and previous experience with cats?

Believe me, a good, serious breeder, who cares for the wellbeing of his animals, will have primary interest in questions like these!

And now to the question, which some people seem to ask themselves: Why a pedigree cat has its price.

 

You should consider the following:

If a breeder runs a serious, loving breeding program, he has high expenses.

• Arising veterinary costs (in case of illness, regular vaccinations, tests)

• Club costs (pedigree applications, annual fees etc.)

• High quality food (raw meat, dehydrated food, etc.)

• Mating costs, if you don't have a stud of your own.

• Possibly cost for the journey to a breeder.

• Costs for firstclass breeding animals, in which a breeder has to be willing to invest, if s/he wants to have animals from good lines.

• All toys, cat furniture etc.

  The cats should not be lacking anything after all!

And not to mention the time needed, the care and above all the effort behind it.
